Business Story:
Sheridan Wyoming’s most highly awarded brewery is located in the heart of the Wild West, and at the base of the majestic Big Horn Mountains. At Black Tooth Brewery we are creating fun, unique, and quality craft beer, and have been doing so for over 5 years. With a humble beginning starting in November of 2010, Black Tooth opened its Taproom doors and brewery with only a 10 BBL brew house and Head Brewer/Co-owner Travis Zeilstra at the wheel. Zeilstra himself is a graduate of the Western Culinary Institute and recipient of the "brewer of the year" award at GABF in 2007.
This small beginning for Black Tooth quickly led way to future expansions and in the spring of 2015 we completed a multi-million dollar production facility capable of producing upwards of 50,000 BBLS a year. The vision of being a leader in creating quality craft beer in the Rocky Mountain region has become a reality. Black Tooth now has three of its flagship beers, Saddle Bronc (Brown Ale), Bomber Mountain (Amber Ale) and Hot Streak (IPA) available in 6-Pack Cans and Draught statewide in Wyoming as well as parts of South Dakota and Montana.

Taproom:
Within the taproom doors you will find a relaxing yet vivacious tasting room where locals and travelers alike can enjoy a fresh pint from a wide range of Black Tooth brews. The taproom, historically known as the “Poll Motor” garage building now boasts live music, laughter and sweet aromas of freshly milled grains and hops. The 10 bbl brew house is situated right in the middle of the taproom so drinkers can see and experience where their beers come from. Tours of the 30 bbl brewhouse, also right on premise, are available at any time. A pro shop full of Black Tooth logo’d merchandise including everything from hats and t-shirts to glassware and specialty growlers is viewable right from your pub height chair.

Beer information:
At Black Tooth we strive to make a wide range of quality craft beers that are enjoyable to all. Many of the award winning beers created by our brewers including 1314, a barrel aged English strong ale (2014 world beer cup gold medal) and Wagon Box, an American Wheat Ale (2014 North American Beer Awards Gold) are testaments to this fact. Several session-able, stylistic beers are available including Saddle Bronc (English brown ale) Bomber Mountain (Amber ale) and Hot Streak (IPA), while some of their more robust and alcohol high counterparts are also part of our line up including “1314” (Barrel Aged English Strong ale), Over/Under (Imperial IPA using New Zealand Hops) and Deer Abbey (Belgian Dubble and 2011 North American Beer Awards Bronze). We truly feel there is something to be enjoyed by everyone within our beers and would love to share a pint with you. So if you’re passing through the wild states of the west make sure you stop into the taproom or grab yourself a six-pack or pint at a local watering hole and #Drink The West!

Stahoo's is nanobrewery in Casper, serving a variety of 10 beers! All beers are made in-house. Stahoo's formulates our beers with the finest malts, including those from Gallatin Valley Malting Company, a far-family owned malthouse that grows and malts their own grains.  Family friendly, the popcorn is always fresh and free. Outdoor seating available.  We take pride in the beer we brew, and as owners - we are the ones who serve you!

Heidi and I both come from families who farmed and some of our people even worked in the brewing and distribution side of the business more than 75 years ago. Our love of  "farm to table" values come through in every glass.

We look forward to your visit and to sharing our brewery with you!
